Horseback Riding Trip description:
Spend your horseback riding day meandering through green rolling hills, wading through pristine streams, and enjoying panoramic valley views. After a 15-minute horseback riding safety orientation . You will have two hours of guided horseback riding through the small local town of Caldear. And then trails around the mountains and lowlands of the valley, an area with beautiful landscapes and picturesque views for photos opportunities.
This tour is perfect for families with children up to experienced riders. Gorgeous photo-taking opportunities are endless on your fun and adventurous day in the sunshine and hills of the Chiriqui Province.
Morning Tour: 8:30am – 12:00pm daily (dry season Dec-May)
Afternoon Tour: 2:30pm – 6pm daily
Caldera Highlands, Boquete, Panama.
The tour goes to a lower elevation in the Caldera region, which is generally warmer and sunnier year round. We recommend morning trips during the rainy season months of July-November. Afternoon trips are available in the dry season. The trip is not cancelled due to minimal rain.
At the A1 Office in Plaza Los Establos on Main Street in Boquete.
Minimum age is 12 years to ride solo (smaller kids can ride with an experienced adult).
Maximum weight: women 200lbs., men 210lbs.
The guide will select the area for riding based on your experience and comfort on the horses.
If you have children or a low horse comfort level. The guide may decide to only stay in the local Caldera town, and limit the mountain trail riding.
Participants should be in good physical condition.
Trip details may change due to severe weather.
